WHAT'S ALL THE FUSS OVER HARRIS TWEED?
We want to see sheep on green hillsides, so we buy their wool.
Yes, sir! Sometimes three bags full.
In the remote Hebridean Islands off Scotland, the wool weavers were dependent on their cottage industry. To maintain their independence, The Harris Tweed brand was protected by an act of Parliament in 1909, and today, over 50 countries import this fine handwoven wool. Harris Tweed's unique Scottish tweed and tartan patterns are still woven on traditional wooden looms at home, using yarns processed and dyed right on the island, from 100% British wool.

I LOVE this!!
